LITTLEFIELD ARTS & HERITAGE GROUP
The Littlefield Arts and Heritage Committee was established in 1988 to provide additional entertainment for residents of the area, featuring Waylon Jennings and friends. Tourism has been promoted, since then, and the revenue earned goes into scholarships and projects to help various charities and organizations, as well as stimulate the economy of Littlefield.
Littlefield has become known on the state, national and world-wide level for its festivals, and the free Waylon Jennings RV Park. Many of the musical festivals are advertised in national magazines. Businesses reap an increase in sales and the city shows an increase in sales tax receipts, since visitors buy groceries, gasoline, and go shopping while they are here.
Some of our most popular festivals include:
- Free Waylon Jennings concert
- Native American PowWow
- Bluegrass Festivals
- Christmas Bizarre
- Fourth of July Celebration
The Littlefield Arts and Heritage Group along with the City of Littlefield are very proud of our RV Park, named in honor of our home-town celebrity, Waylon Jennings. The entrance to the park includes a memorial complete with his boot prints set in concrete. Littlefield is excited to welcome visitors to our town and offer free spaces in the updated RV Park with electric pedestals for up to 70 hookups. The RV Park includes an outdoor stage, bulletin board, and horseshoe pitching lanes.
The Littelfield Arts and Heritage Group is excited to be able to offer scholarships for our graduating high school seniors.
